Congaree + Penn Farm Art Adventure
Service Description
Join me on the farm for a unique, one of a kind Art Darling experience. I will have the studio set up in a serene outdoor space beneath a majestic oak tree. This is an hour and a half drop off class intended for artists ages 5 and up. This will give parents a chance to enjoy the farm for themselves. Upon arrival, meet me on the patio adjacent to The Farm Shop. I will guide budding artists on a short hike through the farm. Artists will stop to create their masterpieces using a majority of natural objects and materials. I will return to the patio with the artists and their completed works. Each family member of the young artist attending must purchase a farm pass to explore the farm (registered students do not need a farm pass). Dining reservations are available at The Roost on Resy. While The Roost is kid friendly, Congaree and Penn kindly requests that children are always supervised and mindful and respectful of other guests who are dining and enjoying the farm. _ If you're new here: About myself and Art Darling "I spent my life studying art and education. I earned a Master's degree in education and taught art for grades K-7. It didn't take long for me to realize that I had found what I was created to do. Life took me down a few rabbit holes - traveling and living abroad, designing curriculum, teaching art after school, having 3 children, and homeschooling. Each rabbit hole has been enhancing and enlightening in its own right...leading me here. I find myself having come full circle back to where my passions lie - creating with children." Art Darling is a process-based traveling art studio in Jacksonville. Process art focuses on the creative experience as opposed to the final product. It provides students with an environment to explore and create without being bound by the "rules" of a traditional art lesson. -Kids should be prepared with closed toed shoes, insect repellant, and a bottle of water.
